Technology Afoot can assist individuals and groups with the following
tasks:
- Assess the needs and capabilities of individuals through
conducting fitness tests to check blood pressure, heart rate and
lung capacity
- Provide tuition and assistance to individuals and groups by
preparing a routine of exercises to music including aerobics, boxing
and circuit training
- Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising
with weightlifting equipment, jogging treadmills and other training
and exercising apparatus, and devise personal exercise programs for
individuals according to age and level of fitness
- Provide instruction in a variety of fitness activities
- Liaise with doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians and other allied
health professionals to devise health and fitness programs for
clients
Technology Afoot fitness instructors specialise in a number of fields
such as aerobics, personal training, exercises for special groups
including older people, resistance training and water activities
